CARNIVAL 2002
Many thanks to all those who helped make the 2002 St Mary’s Village Carnival such a success. Even the weather decided to favour the Carnival and provided sunshine in an otherwise wet week. Over £8,000 was raised for the good causes selected this year, with a further £10,000 being taken on other stalls and amusements. The Carnival Procession had around 30 participants, including 13 floats, with the winners being Eaton Bray Pre-School, Edlesborough School and Janes. The good causes to benefit from this year's Carnival include the St Mary's Church fabric fund, Eaton Bray Hall and the Silver Star Society. If you know of a local charity or good cause which could benefit from a donation, please contact Gordon Gray.
The 2003 Carnival will be held on Saturday 5th July and the theme will be The Circus – see you there!
