CARNIVAL 2002 - 6th July 2002
STOP PRESS! It’s Carnival time!
Come along to the St Mary’s Village Carnival on Edlesborough Green on 6th July. The Carnival Procession will start from The Orchards, Eaton Bray at 12.30 pm. The Carnival itself will begin at 1.30 pm on Edlesborough Green.
THIS YEAR’S CARNIVAL ATTRACTIONS
Attractions this year include:
- Hot Air Balloon
- Birds of Bray
- Morris and Maypole Dancing
- Classic Cars
- Children's amusements
- Sealed Knot
- Range of stalls
Many of these attractions are COMPLETELY FREE!
GRAND DRAW
As usual, there will be a Grand Draw with prizes including a helicopter ride, tickets to Whipsnade Wild Animal Park, tickets for the Royal International Air Tattoo, meals out at a number of local restaurants and pubs, a case of wine, cinema tickets and a lorry-load of manure, as well as many other great prizes! Tickets for this are available both before and during the Carnival.
YOUR HELP IS NEEDED!
Can you spare one just hour either on Friday 5th July or on the day of the Carnival itself please? We need people to transport equipment, erect tents and stalls, help in the tea tent, car park or man stalls and help clear away after the Carnival.
