Carnival 2008 - Fairy Tales

Carnival Procession

All entries will be judged and trophies will be awarded for the best entry in each of three categories. 1) pre-school/lower school 2) junior school 3) adult /family/business. Every entry gets a certificate to prove that they took part.

Entry in the procession is free. If you need a vehicle and give us at least 8 weeks notice, we can often help. You must however provide your own driver.

Do not forget you do not have to enter a float. You can walk or push a pram or stilt-walk, or ... well you think!

It is always nice to know in advance that you are coming but if it is a last-minute thing and you do not need transport, just turn up at The Orchards in Eaton Bray between 10.30 and 11.30 on the day. Judging takes place at noon and the procession moves off at 12.30. All we ask is that your entry has a theme.

11:15am: Floats and walkers assemble in The Orchards, Eaton Bray
11:40am: Judging
12:15am: Rosettes and certificates distributed
12:30am: Procession leaves The Orchards
1:30pm: Arrive at Edlesborough Green
